Six of our top-performing creators sat down for two hours. Here's what they said about the industry, the platform, and their next moves.
Six creators. One room. Two hours. The 2026 Privé roundtable was not recorded — the conversation below is reconstructed from notes taken by our editorial team with the participants' permission.
The themes that dominated: the exhaustion of the public internet, the appetite for genuine privacy, and the strange creative freedom that comes from working for a small, loyal, paying audience rather than a large, anonymous, free one. On the exhaustion of public platforms: 'I have half a million followers on the public side. I interact with maybe forty of them. Here I interact with four hundred.
The math is obvious.' On creative freedom: 'When your audience is paying, they have skin in the game. They want you to take risks. Free audiences want safety. Paying audiences want surprise.' On the future of the industry: 'The influencer model is over.
The creator model — where you build something real and charge for it — is just beginning. We are very early.' On the platform itself: 'The editorial filter is the product. The reason members trust what they find here is because they know what didn't make it through.' The conversation ran for two hours and could have continued for four.
